HI its my first post on this forum so please let me know if this is in the wrong section!

 

Anyway I was wondering if anyone could tell me if there is any tell tale ways of finding out if my 8p is remapped (I puchased second hand).

 

After watching thousands of youtube videos of stock vs stage 1 cars visually see any difference when driving.

 

My car is completely standard as far as I know the only difference I have noticed is that my rev limit for launch control is around 4200rpm, most seem to be around the 3700rpm mark which does get me thinking the gearbox may have been flashed.

My launch control rev limit is also 4200.  The best bet is contact the previous owner.

Log/check the boost on VCDS or another OBD2 adaptor/app.
