Morning gents,

Are Sat Nav updates only available from the main stealers?. I used it for the first time yesterday and with the limited postcode entry, I had to resort to using my phone.

I probably won't use it a great deal but it would be nice to know that it's up to date if needed.

I believe 8P0060884 DJ is the latest version for our RNS-E system.,I bought a 3rd party copy which I've done in the past without any problems.

If you have the original one which came from the factory it will be well out of date.

The genuine discs will set you back a fair bit tbh.

Did you purchase the above 2020 updated SatNav disc firmware update 8P4ME?

Also, can you confirm if it corrected the limited postcode issue please as I have seen somewhere that this does not include the 7-digit postcode update.

On Satnavishop.co.uk it says the latest update with the 7-digit postcode is the 2015/2016 version.

So before I order one I would like to know which is definitely the correct and latest version please?

Audi never released 7 digit post code.

there was a hacked version 2016 , that did, briefly, but from what I gather, the map people that made this possible, didn’t licence it to be copied out all over eBay, so pulled any future updates or ability to code it.

Mine just finished it's online update - 254mB - took a week.  Just as well as I have been driving over fields for the past year after the A1 and A14 works have opened - Ashy will know what I am talking about!

All the arguments about 5G - well let's get 3G rolled out first shall we? T0ssers.

I’ve already got the full postcode, and therefore sceptical the 2020 Version would work with 7 digit postcode
but off the back of your post and for under £14 quid will give it a go and bought one too.

Was worth a punt, I was sceptical it would
Have 7 digit post code and it doesn’t.

Was sold as “genuine” which you have to take with a
With a pinch of salt due to 10th of price 🙄 compared
To Audi

for Future Reference I got a black faced disc printed with

Vorsprung durch Technik - final edition.

Maps might have updates but I’m used to 7 digit post codes not xxx x so it’s demoted to the glove box...
