Hi Gents, has anyone done such a conversion on their cars?

i personally believe my 8v s3 brakes are 10x better than my sh*t oems...and the costs to bring in Reylands etc to South Africa cost a fortune.

I have the Reyland floating front discs, a much more consistent feel from my brake pedal ever since with no brake squeal.
Also prefer the look of them and have had no issues with any vibration since either.

Have you tryed a aftermarket pad like Ferodo DSs or DS2500s or the like ?

They can make a big difference.

Stephen.

On straight vane discs the direction of the grooves don't really matter so you can fitted them how you like.

Reyland don't ask how you want them aless there curved vane discs.

Ok. So from a cooling perspective the Reylands aren't sided. The above are just the opposite way round to which my old ones were fitted. Mine were delivered however with a marker pen arrow showing which way to fit, and most curved groove rotors seem to be the other way round?

As mentioned above they aren’t handed, the groove direction is personal preference and does not affect performance in any way as the grooves are just for gas expansion.

They do not come marked up for LH or RH unless the cooling canes are curved

Fair play mate 👍 Each to their own on opinions on aesthetics. No offence intended it is purely my opinion that they look better the other way round 😂
