Hi guys just after some advice.
Had reyland floating disks and ds2500 pads fitted last week.
Ive noticed that on braking, on the first half of the pedal there is very little "braking", the second half of the pedal causes very harsh braking.

So far i have only used them on road and not been on a track.

Is this normal as the pads need to be warmed up?

Yes a little bit of heat is required when there cold then as you put more & more heat into them they will grab hard & hard 😂

As for the pedal travel....there not fully bedded in yet as the many sets ive had always bite at the top of the pedal when braking.

Cheers for the reply...they shouldnt be free. Il double check tomorrow.

Its like the bottom half of the pedal is where all the braking is.

I followed the bedding in procedure but it feels very similar to how it did when i collected it.

Yes they shouldn`t be free enough to wobble about but also not tight enough to bind up.

If your RS has some years on it a brake fluid change may be in order.

I have had no issues with them on my 18 plate saloon - fitted for about a month now - great pads.
