Go round various parts of the engine/gearbox with a stethoscope or failing that a long screwdriver put to your ear. You`ll should hear the noise easily enough.

Solved many a problem on my older cars back in the 90’s
Sadly lost on modern day technicians.

Can you post a video of revving the engine up and down ?

Can't post video of car revving as it's in pieces at dealer. The noise didn't change when it revved.
