Evening all,

I've been looking at exhausts since I bought the car in December and come to the conclusion that I would rather go custom than buy off the shelf such as Miltek or Scorpion etc as I don't think they truely let loose the 5 cylinder noise from the engine and in turn I'd want 3.5" such as the Bull-X but the price is somewhat slightly off putting and I can get the same exhaust (3.5") for a fraction of the price with just as good quality and fantastic welds etc.

But my question is this, is there anyone who runs 100 or 200 cell cats? If so does it pass come MOT time? The exhaust will be getting cats put in regardless but I want to limit restrictions as much as possible as well as keeping it MOT friendly.

Much Appreciated.

Honestly after selling the Bull X to some chap in Spain. The powervalve is unreal, id go as far to say it’s the closest noise you’d get to a pre FL 8V. The build quality is fantastic.

I have a straight pipe from the primary cat onwards.

So secondary cat deletes, res delete and back box delete.

You lose the valve functionality, but if you want the noise then it’s there and some more

It does but I drive it a couple times a week and the noise on acceleration and gear change makes up for it

Probably irrelevant, but I guess in theory,  if mot tested at Audi, or a particularly on the ball mot test station,

a sport cat equipt aftermarket exhaust would probably fail an mot too,  due to the number of cats being less than that fitted at factory.

same reason we don’t go to Audi for MOT’s with cat bypass pipes.
