What a waste of time!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Rang them today and they can't insure because the car is in my partners name

Can only insure the car if it's in my name as I'm the main user and married

Strange that LV don't have an issue with this...........

Made the mistake of wasting half an hour with them last year - not impressed. They only seemed to offer the Axa policy for the RS3 and were far more expensive than going direct!

I realise they are a forumn sponsor and all but maybe they might like to respond to the comments left of their marketing posts and engage in a discussion.

Waste of space.

I've checked this with the team. The issue with the insurers seems to be the grey area between being married to the policyholder and therefore your possessions are shared in law, and not being married where your possessions are separate. Do you share an address?

If we quoted Axa that's a screen rate and we don't have any control - it is what it is. It means you didn't qualify for the car clubs and enthusiasts facility we have (perhaps postcode or experience). Without knowing your name and postcode I can't check but am happy to report back specifically if you can supply that info (by PM for your privacy).

best,

Nick

Married or living together as common law are all fine from the 3 other insurance companies I spoke to after your advisor.

Name on the log book (in this case my partners) isn’t the legal owner ! I bought the car and have the invoice to prove.

We have 3 vehicles in the household that are all insured(with zero issues) up until asking Chris Knott (Funny how the last name suits) who seemed to have a strange approach to pretty much everyone I know who have had quotes from you !

And why ask if we share an address ! Of course we bloody do otherwise I wouldn’t be bothering !
