With me been new to all these dsg boxes is it necessary to have the box mapped at the same time as having a stage 1 map
I’ve spoke to 2 Audi tuners and one said it had to be done as part of the stage 1 map and the other has said the dq500 box won’t need it as it can handle it

Yes technically you are meant to tune the dsg for a stage 1 to release more torque, But I dont like pushing stage 1 due to the very poor intercooler. So we don't tune the dsg unless you have a cooler.

BenTTU may I ask what map u install and I see u are in Tamworth I’m 20 minutes away so u may have a customer
