Was away working for a week and dropped my car into Richard at RGK detailing for paintwork correction and Gyeon ceramic coating. He did a great job!Attached File  76903552_1377654742398613_1958026863842426880_n.jpg   46.9K   12 downloadsAttached File  70232280_1377656192398468_7940642807947984896_n.jpg   38.42K   12 downloadsAttached File  74318414_1377656919065062_1092095645184950272_n.jpg   42.2K   12 downloadsAttached File  75204574_1377661299064624_4811711806567350272_n.jpg   50.46K   11 downloadsAttached File  76771588_1377655385731882_5321857881568444416_n.jpg   42.18K   10 downloadsAttached File  77357501_1377656929065061_5423664055481008128_n.jpg   46K   12 downloads

Looks fantastic.

Or I probably should say now - looked fantastic. By the time you had driven it home on these mucky roads it probably now looks as bad as before! Mind you - you have an incentive to get the wash mitt on and sort it out now.

Was all going fine bud until I was 5 miles from home and the tyre pressure warning light came on again. The last time I had the delight of a near blow out after hitting a pothole then quick deflation. When the tyre came off the garage showed me the thread bare Pirelli on the inside rim. This time the other front tyre still appears to be fine wear wise and hasn't gone down since topped it up but I was still bricking it after the last experience.

Time for Michelin Pilot Sports all round I think!

A good opportunity to get rid of the Pirelli rubbish.

Yup tyres made out of marshmallows were not what I expected on an RS3.

Ooooooft - looking fantastic!

If you're going MPS4S - go 235/35 all round... I'm going to change my 255/30 fronts next year when I put the summer wheels back on.

I put ContiSport 5P RO2s on mine and they are fine for road use - got found out on a hot track though. Gripped well but were disintergrating before my eyes like they were being beamed up to the Starship Enterprise piece by piece. PS4s next time out for me which, given were are back at the track on Monday, will probably be sometime next week!

Saw that some are going for 245/35 all round on the MPS4S's Gav but most swear by the 235/35, any ideas on this? Yup will be ditching the 255/30s as well and going square.

Has anyone tried a 245/235 staggered setup?  Kind of keeps to the original design intent?

235 all round.

No regrets especially with the Goodyear Eagle F1 Supersport tyres.

I’ve not bothered with the winters just yet either.

Is that on the 19" rotors that came on your car?

JUst put the Eagle F1s on the Mrs 8p.  I might have to take it out and give it some beans to see how they stack up.

Probably needs a DPF workout anyway.

Hi Scott,

I'd just stick with the 235s if I were you. They are BIG tyres - probably about the size of the standard 255 Pirellis! The 255 MPS4S tyres are like bloody tractor tyres ;-) They can tramline quite badly and the ride quality is pretty firm. I was quite pleased to get my staggered Dunlop Sport Winters on to be honest!

No the GY SS on right.

Oem Pirelli 255 on the car.

The Goodyear 235 tread width as you can see is pretty much the same as the 255 Pirelli.

Thanks I was worried about changing from the 255 fronts and the car looking a bit leaner as a result.

Just the Regular.
When I spoke to GY technical they said the Standard Supersports were best suited for the road.
Anything above for track use.
