Whenever I add a phone number to my phone my car updates but if I delete a phone number from my phone it wont delete from the rnse unit & my car still remembers it.

Looks like a first World problem...
I am sure it can be done but is it really worth the effort?

Yeah cos now when I'm scrolling through looking for a number I've got multiple numbers for the same person.

Will have a look though.
How about delete the lot and let it redownload the phone with current list??
Might mess up any voiced phone book options though. I only set a couple of those for my very most used numbers, and it was such a flaff , i never bothered since!

There's no option to delete anything, it's very strange. Can’t say I’ve had an issueor noticed it, that said, I mostly use the last dialled list ...

If I press the knob on the steering wheel & start scrolling through there's numbers I deleted ages ago from my phone but the rnse seems to store them.

Unpair phone and repair - sorts it out
I've unpaired the phone & reset the rnse bluetooth settings but it still remembers old/deleted numbers as soon as I pair the phone again.

Unpaired being.... disconnect and forget device on phone. And then re install as per new device.
I had the same issue with some of work numbers from my work number staying within the display when I toggled through however I did what I said and now I only have the one phone book on it.

Jay as far as I'm aware that's what I've done, when I pair again it doesn't ask to download the phone book all existing & old numbers are all there.

Dell, yeah mines only shows when connected but it's showing numbers I've deleted & are no longer saved on my phone, it's as if the rnse somehow stores numbers🤷‍♂️Funny my phone book hasn't uploaded to the RNSE 🤔

Sorry - this just seems like such a 1st world problem. I have lots of contacts on the phone I haven't used for years and it hasn't caused me an issue. Scroll down to the one you want or take your chances with the voice activated thingy and job done.
Haven't even bothered deleting them off the phone - even ones like Dell

Again cheers for you positive input, the issue I have is there various "Johns" which have been deleted from my phone but they all still show & I've no idea on the head unit which is the correct number.
I'll not bother posting again if I'm gonna get negative feedback from the likes of yourself.

I don't want to think what 'profession' you have chosen to follow if all your contacts are 'Johns'. Anyway - all the best with it and I am always happy to help mate.
In the meantime try going to the pub and finding a modicum of a sense of humour - if not try sticking coal up your arse as I think you might be a mobile diamond mine.
