Hello I've got a 2011 8p and thinking of getting Audi extended warranty. Does it cover the common problems like chain rattle and the dmf also oil leaks. Do they actually pay out as well or is it like the usual warranties that ain't worth the paper it's wrote on . Also do you require to service it at Audi or they void it ?

Can you get extended warranty on a 2011 car?
Catalunya Red ,Heated rear window,Power steering,Wireless (with FM),Seat belts,Servo assisted brakes.Pneumatic tyres. Disc brakes.

I've had extended Audi warranty on my previos 8p & my wife's current 8p.
Audi have always honoured every thing i've claimed for through there extended warranty, athough i've not had to claimed for chain rattle as yet!
My Audi's are serviced by an Audi independant & this has never affected any of my warranty claims - ecu, high pressue fuel pump, electric fuel pump, haldex pump, electric fault & body work fault.
So i would say the Audi warranty is worth the paper its printed on.

That's the sort of answer I'm after haha I'm just wondering if anyone has ever claimed for a dmf or chain rattle also do you get charged for the diagnostic thanks
