Any input from people who have hybrids.
To be honest it's either that or next year look at maybe a newer car, which is probably more expensive than going hybrid haha

Yeah I worked it out around £3300 for the labour mapping and turbo. Ive only just gone stage 2 but I'm abit disappointed in the performance over stage 1 in the sense I'm getting slower times haha.
Jay have you timed yours?
On the 8P the difference between stage 1 & 2 isn't a lot in pound for bhp & likewise for the 8v.
If it drives better on stage 2 than 1 then its not all that bad & as for the figures thats just bragging rights tbh.
Btw i know off a stage 1 8P which on the road isn't much difference from my stage 2+ & his don't have any of my hardware.

i don’t have any times I’m afraid. I use it as daily car and I’ve had the TTE on for over 2 years now. For every day road use though id favour the stage 2 or Bens turbo over the TTE as this is more high end. Which is great but not for the public roads. You can’t beat low-mid range grunt for the roads.Yeah I worked it out around £3300 for the labour mapping and turbo. just enjoy what you have and save the £££. The stage 2 you gain the extra torque with the HPFP internal upgrade but gain minimal bhp. It’s a very fast car.Yeah I went full fat stage 2 or 2+ if you like. I just presumed I guess an extra 70-100lbft would show. I guess the stage 1 map I had was a really good one. But yeah it drives much better now to be fair.

Forge intercooler
Hg motorsport intake pipe
Standard exhaust but full decat
Autotech fuel pump internals
Was mapped by mrc but at cm tuning so no dyno results on stage 2. But stage 1 i went to AET hub dyno and did 389hp and 403lbft at the wheels.

As for draggy times I'm quite sure if you was to go to say Santa Pod you blow there doors off Cupra Rs
The particular 8P i mentioned previous with a stage 1running at the Pod i was 2/10 quicker running rubbish tyres, but with equal tyres i would no doubt be 1/2 sec quicker due to my superior torque & spool up time.
Btw I'm running the same set up on my 8P as your 8V & here's my print out stock v stage 2+

At pod for sure. Tbf these new cupra rolling on a tune are pretty damn quick. It was tweaked on the road mate yeah. I'm sure doug wouldn't put his name to any old map I guess
For sure Doug wouldn't put MRCs name to any old tuning house.
Ben at TTU tweeks his maps on the road also mate.

I went out in Ben @ TTU’s RS3 yesterday in a word “amazing” the power band is unreal power comes in strong really early and pins you to the seat and the car just keeps pulling all the way the red line, and another amazing thing for me when driven normally you wouldn’t even know it’s tuned very impressive, I’m having one fitted.

Ben's hybrid ticks all the real world boxes...great low/mid range torque & power with that 500ps+ to give you a hard on 😁
Don't get all that with a bigger turbo 🙄
