What can you touch them up with? And could you do it on a larger scale?

I'm sure someone has mentioned spraying them in an old thread somewhere but I don't know if that would be good for the cooler or not.

Would that effect the IC at all or would it be alright as long as you didn't cake it in paint?

it’s a sealed unit, it’ll be fine just for covering the odd paint chip.

I can’t imagine a light coat of paint bothering it at all.

Spraying it will be fine - it not like you are going to coat the thing in plaster!  The paint is going to have virtually no effect on the cooling which is determined by the fuel flow and air flow.

Spot on 👍The IC requires air flow & if you don't want it to conduct exterior heat you wouldn't paint it black as it absorbs heat.
