hi all

i have heard good things about the rs4 but wondered if anyone has test driven?

is the gearbox/clutch noticably different?

styling is personal taste (clearly is looks soft compared to rs6 and previous rs4)

just wondered as i am seriously considering moving to one

any feedback appreciated

thanks

I went PFL RS3 to B9 RS4. The 4 is a stunning looking car and appreciably quicker than the 3. For me though the lack of sound killed the experience and I moved on after just one year.

I went to look at one

Disappointed.

Might be a nice place inside but the engine / hoover type noise was a monumental let down.

Also thought it wasn’t worth 67k

I also test drove one and felt it was really boring to drive

Oops - Missus wearing the trousers Roy?  Mind you - they all try - my Mrs revenge on my blowing £50k of cash on the RS3 was buying a £900 handbag - I think I got away with the swag scot free in the circumstances.

I have to agree with you though - nice motor you had there - real class with a lot of punch in hand.
