After needing an OBD II reader yesterday and having to chase around all day looking for one to borrow it's probably a good investment to get one of my own. After looking though there seems to be a whole bunch of them with quite a wide range of prices.

Can anyone recommend any particular one/s that are better to get?

Cheers. :)

Myself and Dan both use OBDeleven, I am happy with it, haven’t used it a great deal. But very handy for gearbox oil temp when doing an oil change. Would be good if you could customise measurement blocks / data streaming.

I am sure Dan and others will have other comments. It’s a good alternative to vcds for the light user who doesn’t want to spend the £££ on Vcds.

As Ollie as mentioned I bought the obdeleven dongle as I as after something quick and clean looking to fault read and also do basic adaptation mods to my 8v. Vcds looked like something bill gates would use😂 to much for my brain to take.
Obdeleven will also allow you to do some long coding too if you understand this side of the process, well worth the money in my experience with it

Is it only the newer one that they do that works with iOS? Looks like all there current gen stuff is for Android.
