I'm getting prices for coilovers and had planned to go the B16/iSweep route, but the supplier has mentioned Ohlins also do a Road and Track coilover setup for the RS3, and have their own DRC cancellation kit which will work out comparatively well priced against KW V3s, and only a little more than B16s, but when then adding the iSweep kit they are all around the same price.

I know Ohlins from racing, but don't know anyone who has them on a road car.

Does anyone have an experience with their fast road kits, or even heard of an RS3 with Ohlins?

I looked up for.Ohlins for my 8P before fitting the B14s but they didn't do them.

I've used them on various motorcycle & there top shelf kit also likewise in the car world.

I haven’t used them but koenigsegg have fitted them to the latest hypercar so they can’t be bad!d071408cb989b9b5035f0d765808f5df.jpgab361af33ece507475182e35c45d1e50.jpg

I get that this is probably a good sign, but I'm not going to go and think the same development cost went into an aftermarket option for a hatchback as went into a hyper car. I think Lamborghini use Ohlins too, but again, that doesn't mean the system for an RS3 is going to be better than other manufacturers. The old addage of "you get what you pay for" does seem to be the case with suspension though, I am leaning towards getting them even with the extra cost above B16s and KW V3s.

I’m no expert on suspension but I do know that ohlins are top tier products so I would be confident that they will be more than at home on a humble wee rs3
