Went to my local Audi dealership yesterday and whilst there asked about service costs. The service manager said the basic oil and filter service is £345, which incl's VAT. The full major service which incl's plugs etc is £465, again this incl's VAT.

My point is the major service looks better value for money than the basic service.

How does this equate to you guys out there with regard to costs to service your RS3?

I think they just charge you the same price for the Tec time on both services & the rest is parts.

A long long time ago when mine had its 1st & only service at my local Audi dealer the Tec time was £200 & with the oil/filter it came to a grand total of £350.

Recently had mine in for its first service at my local Caffyns Audi and the total cost including a loan car for the day was £265. Engine was filled with Castrol Edge pro 5w-30 LL, thought this was a good price,very satisfied with this.

Also, with you saying you got your's serviced at your local Audi dealership a long time ago at £350, the price on offer to me now isn't too bad then?

My previous A3 3.2 & my RS3 after the 1st service are serviced by myself using oils,filters & plugs from TPS.

I've carryed out both the DSG & Haldex services also the brake & suspension upgrades.

I use specialist garages for anything i can't or haven't got the equipment to do myself mate.

Just get the garage to price match with your local Halfords.

 

I have done this recently.

 

Instead of £345 i got it for £169

As with a Audi stuff I expected a price but not one so high

Never bothered with the 2nd year inspection service as the car went out of warranty.

I justed get my mot man to give it a very good going over instead.
