Emissions with downpipe

As always I’m always thinking should I upgrade my car to stage 2 pfl.
Lots of exhaust manufacturers only list a decat downpipe and what looks like a sports secondary catalyst.
So my question has anyone fitted a decat downpipe but left their secondary cats in place?
If so does the car pass an emissions test with only secondary cats fitted?

Probably too much time on my hands on a Saturday night but I’d really appreciate any help on this.

Car passes MOT easily with decat downpipe only but not with decat downpipe AND secondary decats. .
Catalunya Red ,Heated rear window,Power steering,Wireless (with FM),Seat belts,Servo assisted brakes.Pneumatic tyres. Disc brakes.

The second cats are easily put back on although my bolts snapped on my cats when removing crazy on a 2 year old car so have replaced them with stainless studs and nuts if I choose to refit them
Im running a set of oem gutted 2nd cats fitted with stainless steel nuts/bolts so easy to remove & refit the oem 2nd cats at mot time.

You wonder what rubbish these parts are made from nowadays on a premium brand car. Not just my car but motors in general now 3 years old they look buggered underneath
Yep & the cat pipe studs facing forward don't help much tbh.

On both sets of cats 1 or 2 of the studs broke when removing them,i got all of them remove & refitted new studs to the pipes i'm keep for mot time & for when i sell the RS.
The gutted set i drill out the stud threads so i could use stainless steel nuts/bolts as they were going to be fitted to the RS 99.9% of the time.
