How is the Samsung S9 for compatibility with Audi?

I have an iPhone at present and it has no issues however I quite fancy getting away from Apple hence checking compatibility prior to purchasing any other phone.

I have got an s9 - sweet as a nut. Need to plug in for Android Auto of course and the bluetooth music player (when I rarely choose to play music rather than listen to the car) is seamless.

 

It has just updated to Android 9 too which is far more colourful than 8 together with some useful shortcuts. I bought one new from Amazon Marketplace back in September for about £400 plus VAT (recovered) - can't go wrong.

Need to plug in for Android Auto

 

I am a bit thick when it comes to this, do you mean it doesn't blue tooth and you need to run a cable from the phone to the USB port?

Bluetooth music player works without plugging in but to run Android Auto (or Car Play I imagine) it needs the cable.

I have had for 6 months - If you have an s7 it wont be a massive step up to be fair but what is?

..........as above went form the 7 to the 9, few things on it but not a huge change. Got mine vat free so £400.00 & sold the 7 edge for £150.00 so not a bad deal.

I didn't have the privilege of selling my 7 - got really pissed at the Oval in the corporate bit during the Idia test and left it behind.

 

The price of having an open bar handing out anything you want for 12 hours.......

 

Together with the £500 ticket fee of course!
