As most parts are very similar on the TT as per the A3, I thought there can’t be too much difference. The dial layout is certainly the same but does have some variations so it was kind of a ‘suck it and see’ situation. So the one thing i didn’t want to do was adjust the needles, but as I will explain this was a kind of half possibility. So yeah, stripped it down and polished out the marks on the lenses and went about checking up the fitting. The adjustments that were required were relocating the mounting points (slice with a craft knife and re-attach with glue), and I had to dremel the insides of the dial surrounds to accommodate the curved dial mats of the RS3 vs the tubular type in the TT. But anyways it turned out brilliant! It has a very slight gap along the left and right side (around 5mm at its widest point), but it’s only visible by looking for it. Also, the original cover for the screws doesn’t fit perfectly but it doesn’t look bad either in my opinion. I am going to finish it off more but for now I’m quite happy and definitely adds a sporty touch to the cabin and goes well with the buckets it’s also very easy to return to standard should I ever want or need to as there was no modification required to the RS3 clocks.
What you guys think?
