Guessing you were rather impressed with the 4 then ??

I was supposed to drive the RS4 and when i got there they only had me booked in for the V10 R8 (they knew what they were doing..haha!) and to say i was impressed is an understatement.!!!!

Only due to my change in circumstances this could "possibly" be within reach it never was before because of having the wife & kids but their is only me driving in the household now so 4 seats are no longer needed :)

I would happily have driven the R8 home but the Mrs has already complained that it's not practical…  :(

Life's to short mate, if you happen to find yourself in the position to get one then do it "my opinion" anyway. The oppurtunity may never show itself again.

I watched my dad work his a*se off all his life, retire with a good pension and not live more than two years to enjoy it.

I live life for now, As Chris said who knows whats around the corner.

Well said,

I was lucky to drive an R8 when they were nearly brand new out a 57 plate I think. The head of PR where I worked her husband worked for Bedford Audi and we both took it out and gave it a real good testing for about an hour and a half.

Ever since then I have wanted one but they have been out of my.......... or should I say my wife and I's price range now the older ones are becoming more affordable ,,,,,,,,,,,,maybe next year sometime.

You only get one lap of the track so make the most of it !!!
