Hi Fellas,

First time doing one of these normally just read the forums (please be kind).

I have seen plenty of threads on how good the 034 rear ARB are but currently they seem to be a nightmare to get hold of (basically impossible)

I was just wondering if anyone is using an alternative as I am struggling to find any apart from the H&R kit but don't want to buy that and then just bin the front ARB.

On the 034 info it states that it fits

  • 2010 - 2013 Audi TT RS 2.5 TFSI (8J)
  • 2011 - 2013 Audi RS3 2.5 TFSI (8P)
  • 2006 - 2013 Audi TT/TTS Quattro (8J)
    • Except 3.2L VR6 Models
  • 2006 - 2013 Audi A3/S3 Quattro (8P)
  • 2008 Volkswagen R32 (MkV)
  • 2012 Volkswagen Golf R (MkVI)

So from looking at that I am assuming that a S3 rear ARB would fit our chassis, I think they're the same.

I have seen this and was hoping someone could confirm that it would fit before I purchase?

Part no. VWR51G64W

Thanks in advance for any help

Stu

Speak to AKS tuning.

https://www.akstuning.co.uk

I managed to get them to supply the rear H&R anti roll bar for 8V owners last year.

Remember to just fit the rear arb as fitting an upgrade front will nullify the benefits of the upgrade rear.

I have tried looking at eibach and whiteline but can only seem to find front ARB specific for RS3 8P.

They both do rear ARB for the S3 8P so hence wondering if they will fit?

seems to be a right nightmare as every search I do comes up with the H&R kits, when I only want the rear.

T-800 I will drop AKS an email thanks pal.

Ah nuts just realised this is the 8P.

Bloody tapacrap

You should be able to source a 034 rear only quite easily then.

No worries mate,

Might be a daft question but I've read that the 034 ARB require maintenance on them, is this just a greasing / lubricating and how often is this required to be done?

That's if I can manage to find one they seem to be like rocking horse s*** at the moment.

2 others & myself have 034 rear arb & none off us have had any maintenance issues.

I just give mine a pump off grease when i do a service no big deal to get either tbh mate.

The 8P RS3 rear arb is the same as fitted to the 8J TTRS.

The 8P S3 has a different part No but the RS3/TTRS would probably work as an upgrade on a S3.
