Just thought I'd give some feedback on my visit to the above dealership yesterday

It was the first service on my RS3 having covered a whopping 3750 miles!

I also took the opportunity to have a front and rear Audi dashcam fitted.

I knew I'd be there a while so spent the day exploring the town. I received regular updates and also video footage and felt like they actually cared.

The only annoying thing was that they spotted a leak from the windscreen washer sytem so it needs to go back for some warranty work.

I was also suprised that the rear tyres were down to 3mm on the edges and the fronts 4mm. Centres were 6mm.

Must be driving harder than I thought or perhaps the OE pirelli's aren't great

Anyway highly recommend this dealership

Hope this helps

Simon

Nearly 11k on mine.

Around 4.5mm left.

Going to be changing soon but not sure as yet what for, although it won’t be MPS4S that’s for sure.

How come weren’t they the tyre of choice a while back

Still are imho although not officially sanctioned by mitchelin and/or some people get traction light flashing with them. I had them on for 30k miles with no issues.

Read too many stories of issues with them.

Michelin do not recommend them for the RS3

Seen them on another RS3 and not keen on the blocky sidewall effect.

I put Conti Sport 5s on the back and they seem ok. Will swap out the Pzeros on the front at the eariest opportunity too.

This is good feedback, thanks Simon.

Stratford is my closest dealership and it's where I test drove an RS3 before deciding to buy one. I found the salesman really good, let me drive the car for around half an hour, didn't try and sell me anything different and kept me up to date with cars he (hadn't) found with my specification. On the test drive all he said was drive how you like, just remember it's your license!

Sounds like one of the better main dealers to get the car serviced  :)
