There was a difference I noticed upon getting the 8P back in that it would take slightly longer to fire up when the Door priming was removed.
Only if I was too quick on the key.

I appreciate there’s a system design for not allowing the fuel to go backwards, however there must be a slight natural pressure change overnight when left.

Haha just seen all the replies to this cos I didn’t have my notifications turned on

Cheers for all the replies, I’ll test the battery and check for fuel prime also, I must admit I can’t hear it priming when I open the door but I’ve never really listened, and as Ben said I would have thought that a NRV would be fitted in line

Dell, I did check the spark plugs and they were only changed 8k miles ago

Cheers

Pretty easy to catch the RS out, I tend to let the needles sweep first and then fire it up. Starts every time.

Haven’t seen door open prime since my two 8L S3’s , Don’t think my 8p S3 BE pruned on the door either. I can’t remember.

It is very strange, I normally let the needles sweep (mainly cos it looks cool ) but even then it does it.

Although I must admit recently it hasn’t done it at all, hopefully everything is sweet haha
