We’re humbled to read the nice comments in the threads regarding this years event and it’s down to you guys it works so well!
I ask every year for any feedback on things that could have been improved on or things you’d like to see us do/include.
We try and get to speak to everyone during the day but we do end up being busy on occasions so apologies if we missed speaking to you but it wouldn’t have been intentional.
Anyway, we’ve broad shoulders so please don’t think any suggestions will be taken the wrong way
Thanks again for your attendance and kind comments!

The weather for a start !
To be honest with the amount of happy faces you see there and everyone getting on so well I don't think there is any need to improve it .
with over 50 people there and also free tea coffee biscuits burgers what more can you ask for ?
My only gripe is out of your hands anyway there are no traders there where you can have a nose about and buy bits and bobs during the day.
Again thanks for a great day

There's nothing i can say which hadn't already been said by others...big thanks for both off you for the hard work you put into the forum/RS3Fest.👍
As for RS3Fest its a shame the date is out off your hands as October is a risky time for this event due to the weather. 🙄
But all the same you both make a big difference 👍

Does make you think was it the weather or bad timing that Audi couldn’t even bring their own truck/stand to ADI 🤔
Last year they had a good show of vehicles and chance to win a go round the track in R8 lmx

Only thing that could have been improved was the weather but thats nothing you can control. I agree with Roy on the trade stands, i think there was only 1 there selling cleaning products.
I didn't realise until late on that the tea and coffee was free, we had been going the burger stalls
Thanks Steve and Caroline for this weekend, its not often you get a random scouser coming up to you without looking a bit on edge lol

Audi were there just without a stand eg cars just parked up. They had a couple of R8's etc although just to look at / sit in.Absolutely nothing you guys beyond organising everything ( were not the easiest bunch to organise as it is )

A very poor show by Audi , I didnt see them at all .
Normally they have a massive trailer there and give out a keyring and have a few cars to sit in and so on .
This year was a complete let down by them
If you take the average RS3 costing £45,000 there was £2,000,000 on our stand alone !!!
Audi should have a much bigger and better presence ......

It would seem Audi have taken a bit of a back seat this year with PR work which has been rumoured to be because of cost cutting over the emissions scandals.
We'll be passing the feedback onto ADI/Castle Combe about the trade stalls as we also felt that let the side down a little.
I've spoken to numerous Audi UK PR folks over the years who want to get involved with us however they never seem to stay in post to follow through the plans. We'll be pushing again to get into Audi's ribs in the new year with a view of getting some sort of involvement to improve after sales / PR which is lacking on some occasions. We spoke with head of Audi UK and Audi UK Customer relations and they agreed they'd like to see more involvement with clubs in general.
We're also going to set up a crowd funding page so Roy doesn't run out of fuel next year

Was nice to see and meet everyone and their cars!
I think we, as an OC had quite an impact on the day, great position in the paddock also is worth a mention, would be not so good if we were further away from the action!
And can’t thank MacD and LadyC enough for their hard work and excellent organisation skills not only on the day, but the months leading up to it,
Pretty faultless from an OC club member perspective,
However I do agree with some others that Audi UK and other traders missing a trick!
Link to the photos I took on the day is in the pictures thread.....
Cheers for the good times had...

That being said, ADI 2018 was better than VAG tuner live despite its smaller size and fewer traders.
All I know is next year they need to sack the bloke in charge of the decibel meter at sound testing 😂
