Seems that xenonz no longer make the RS3 grills, has anyone got a black grill going spare they wish to part with. I want a black grill with ally surround, I currently have two genuine silver grills with ally surrounds. So if anyone has a genuine gloss black optic pack grill, I could switch the trims around if necessary. Help!

All the RS3 8Ps came with the black honeycomb grills with either alloy or the black surround if the black pack option was ordered.

Are your grills from another Audi A3 model retro fitted ? If so you could source an aftermarket black RS3 replica one in that case.🤔

I don't beleave the surrounds can be changed over tbh mate.🤔

I may have misread the posting but i think Stephen has 2 grills which have silver honeycomb with alloy surrounds 🤔

Not black as mine or yours have mate.

Plenty of RS3's have genuine silver honeycomb, with an ally surround. The ally surround is removable as I have already removed one after quite a struggle. I'm presuming on a black optic grill that the black surround is removable too. The only after market grill I would be happy with is a Xenonz as I know they fit, they just ain't making them anymore it seems. I messaged him months ago and they had/have no stock.

Ali pack had pure ali grille which mine originally had



Black pack - gloss black


I bought the xenonz black grille with Ali surround to match the intake Ali scoops


And yes surrounds can be swapped on both black and Ali grilles - made exactly the same way.

Like Jay I originally had the all ally / silver grill.

 

First I sprayed it black. This was not very successful as stones regularly chipped of the black revealing silver, not a good look.

 

Now changed it to all black genuine Audi grill and surround, proper job and happy

I was advised the same today by a really good body shop, basically painting ain't going to work in the long term and would soon look bad.
