Hi All

I have found a FL RS3 saloon which I collect this week - the only issue is it has the standard alloys which I am not a fan of

I am looking to get a set of 19" alloys from LD Prestige - as they seem highly recommended

When I put the saloon in their configurator - it is suggesting 8.5J x 19 ET35 with 235/35/R19 tyres - I have been reading a lot of threads regarding alloys for the saloon & its all somewhat confusing

Can anyone advise if the above will be ok?

Many Thanks

Brett

Brett you can change the ET to their selectable option, this sometimes gives different offsets depending on wheel selection.

The Saloon is a ET 42 rear and 46 front (255 option)

brett.

Tbh the biggest problem isn't the off set it getting the wheel spokes to clear the front brake calipers mate.

Am pretty sure when I had the convo with Roy it was as below.

If not ET43 then it would’ve been 45

I have these in ET47 Gloss Anthracite and they fit great.

Anything ET 42-47 you'll be fine.  Any lower than that especially ET35 and it'll be getting close to the arch.

On the ldprestige website if you enter the "Audi, RS3, 8V since 2015, 19.00" it comes back with all four wheels as "8.5X19 - 5x112 - ET45".

Firstly does that mean a set of alloys from these guys at those sizes mean 255 tyres on all four wheels? If that is the case won't that cause problems on the rears, or does the ET adjust for that?

Thanks.

Chris.

8.5j will accept a 235 tyre

Depends on which tyre how it’ll sit.

I have 235 Pirelli sotto all round on my winter wheels.
