Anyone else have this pop up on their sat nav today? Drove for about 25 minutes and it didn't look like it was making much progress. Hopefully they haven't been hacked by any flat-Earth nutters

Yeah - I had this today visiting the new site. I thought it was due to the area being in a terrible cell phone reception area and had to switch back to standard maps. Didn't check it when I got back to London.

Another hour or so driving in the car and it is still initialising...  Might need a trip to the stealers unless anyone knows where the Ctrl, Alt, Delete buttons are in the FL

Push both map & radio tabs forward as you do press the big MMI jog wheel

MMI will reboot.

Didn't seem to work for me - mind you I only gave it 5 mins on the reboot - you could see on the Google tab that it was taking an age to load. Did complete though and still said 'initialising'.

 

Funny they both went down at pretty much the same time though.

Stick with it, I think I rebooted mine a couple of times - I watched the Google bar take a good few minutes to load up and then it kicked into action. Yep, wondering if there was a background update...

I did a reboot last night, Google Maps kicked in this morning but has gone again this afternoon .... and I’ve done the update too ... :-/
