Dave.

I have a space saver & i would swap rear to front if i had puncture & i don't think you will find a space saver/spare wheel with the right et to fit over the front brakes mate.

Dell.

Hi Dave

Yes Dell is correct.... I looked into a few wheels but sadly the et wasn’t right... So in the end purchased a spare alloy from Audi.. Only trouble is, it does tend take up a lot of the boot space..!!

Dell - please where’d you get your spare from? I assume it was for PFL & if so would suit FL? I have a full size wheel with tyre as a spare & it does take up most of boot hence roof rails & roof box when on touring hols.

Hi Mate.

This comes from a run off the mill 8p which Jay flogged me  :D you can get a good one off Ebay for £50/£90 Part No 1K0601027B

It won't fit it in the under floor boot space if you have the upgrade sub woofer  :(

Hope this is of help.

Would you really want 2 different size wheels on the front of an RS ?.

Dell

Thanks a lot Dell - though it won't fit under boot well it would still be smaller & lighter in actual boot so allowing more room for other stuff than the full size wheel. Though the spare proper is not as convenient as full size wheel in the event of a puncture or such like, it nevertheless allows you to drive about, albeit carefully, whilst puncture sorted out. Past experience on touring hols has taken a couple of days to source replacement for punctured tyre which can be a real pain if you have no alternative transport.
