As per title I am curious what you guys do for servicing.

I know a lot of you do your own 6 monthly oil change, I of which also do, but with regards to the service 'stamp' where do you take it? Still to the dealerships or 3rd party?

Last year I took it to Audi for £300 as I have full dealership service history. But with the value of the cars beginning to fall I was just wondering if its still worth keeping it full dealer.

Cheers.

I only use an independent mate, I don’t trust the dealers to take care of the car

I’ve made a decision recently to not use Audi dealers for service work....
I’ve even got 2 free services that I’ll now not benefit from.

see I am on that trend of thought too. Without going into the gearbox story (almost 2 years worth), I have completely lost faith in the local dealerships so it put me in the thought of taking it elsewhere. I didn't even want the box doing by Audi but I didn't have a choice in the matter

The way I see it if you are selling an RS3 on to another enthusiast they will understand that FASH doesn’t matter and infact is probably detrimental to the cars health 😂

I suppose the only time it matters is if you are trading it in to the likes of a specialist garage. Even then surely it wouldn’t effect resale/trade that much to warrant the increased cost of getting it done at Audi.

I have no stamps from end of 2016. But I have a portfolio of receipts/ pictures of every job and mileage when works were completed on the car in order for the next owner to see. Either completed by myself or another company

APS. It’s serviced earlier and or more frequently than Audi suggest.

Last serviced done by Audi in 2014 then self service by myself since then, all bills from TPS or others for service parts.

I've never worried about dealer service history or resale value as you can spot a well kept car a mile off & not just by the paint work.

Service history is just for people how know F-all about cars or think they do !
