Hi Guys

Im shopping around for a catback, i dont want to spend crazy money. I already have DP and sec cat delete.

I noticed that the Miltek is 3" but the scorpion catback is only 2.5" the full scorpion is 3" which obviously i dont need.

Im just wondering what the stock diameter is? ive noticed its pretty indented in places. Its pretty clear there is no real gains to be had from the catback on a stock turbo but if the stock system is closer to 3" then i dont want to bottleneck my custom stage 2+ with a 2.5" scorpion. On the flip side if the stock system is 2.5 then i may as well get the scorpion.

I personally dont like miltek after i had got through 3 of them on another car a used heinz can would be preferable unless their build quality has improved?

Thanks

Pete

Pete.

To be honest the cat back exhaust just changes the 5 pot sound not much else.

You've got shot of all the restrictions in the exhaust at the front.

I'm run good bhp on the fully decated stock system & a very ear friendly note.

Thanks Dell.

That's kind of my point though about the Scorpion Catback. It's only 2.5 which seems a bit small it's even smaller than stock. So on a stick car it's probably ok. But on a tuned car it could become a restriction?

That being said Scorpion claim with Dyno results to gain all be it extremely small increase.

I just want some more noise mate. I find my car sounds a bit too turbo Jet like and the stock system is muting my pops and bangs that I had mapped in.

There's very small gains with a aftermarket cat back system baring changing the exhaust note mate.
