Hello all

Presently on the RS3 we are running OZ Superturismo Dakar with 235/35/20 Conti Sport 6 tyres. Originally the car car with the Black staggered wheels, with the 255/235 combo. We are also running rear H&R ARB and MSS springs. The car is Revo Stage 1, but will soon be Stage 2.

I am looking to go back to a 19” wheels set, I presume the staggered setup and factory tyre size are advisable. I am looking for a very light weight alloy, that doesn’t need spacers to fit over the brakes, although I may look at spacers to give more of a stance, better handling etc. Ive been trawling for ages for different wheels, but looking for a bit of a advice from the OC, and what suggestions you might have. I’m looking at either black or grey.

Cheers for any advise in advance

PS - This also means I have a set of black Audi 19” wheels with 4K miles on them and the 20’s for sale - PM me if interested

Yes! I dont like the standard Audi alloys, as they are on every model, and I’m after something lighter to keep the unsprung weight down. The 20’s are lighter than the factory 19’s!

Hi Oli

If you want to sell your wheels it would be best to add some pictures on your car. Shame they are not on a saloon because so far I have not heard of someone with 20s on a saloon that don't rub.

A cushion is a great idea or maybe convert a trailer to take a seat? :D

So I think Ive found the wheels I want in 19” and will run staggered tyre figment as per factory size - They are very light (under 10kg each), and sticking with OZ Wheels, which I like :-)

However they only come in black or silver. As much I like black, as I already have, I’m thinking a powder coat colour change to dark grey/graphite might look good. Do you think grey will look good - Anyone good with photoshop?

Oli,

Check out the BC forged range
They have an amazing selection. Their modular wheels are quite $$$$ though.

Alternatively Rays G25 will fit Ur car. 19x8.5 +38
They are lighter than the OZ wheels too .

So many choices out there mate. Different story if it's for the FL though as most wheels don't fit 🤦.

New wheels ordered today, as above;

OZ racing Leggara HLT 8.5x19 ET38 all round. Going with Continental Sport 6 255/30/19 on the front and 235/35/19 on the back, so maintaining the staggered setup 👌🏻 They are 9.7kg each - which is very light!

Should arrive 1st week in July.

Open to sensible offers on the 20’s :-)

Hi Oli

I have the OZ Laggera block gloss wheels on my car and they are very good. You will find if you weigh them they are slightly less than 10kg. As I have a saloon I went for the 8 inch reara, which actually gives better protection than having the 235s on the 8.5. I was advised they were also a better match with the 255 on a 8.5s.
