Does anyone know how many ra3 saloons are in the UK then ?

According to the DVLA data as of end of Q4 there are 410 FL RS3s registered - that is both SB and saloon. I would estimate not many more than 100 then by the end of 2017.

DVLA publishes the numbers - not sure he is right though as I looked at the DVA figures for Q4 2017 in March and it was 410.

It’s a bit confusing because of the models they list including the Nav one which says 1.5k which can’t be correct, especially as all RS3 FL have Nav?

The Sat Nov, non sat nav numbers are PFL, about 2,500 cars in total. The pfl originally never had sat nav standard, then was included when they increased the list price the first year of sale. Got lucky when I bought mine and got it for free.
