New owner to my RS3 8V, came from a MK7 Golf R that was running APR stage 2.
Previously had an 8P RS3 which was a bit troublesome so hoping to have better luck with this one.
So far this one feels more special with its mag ride and sports exhaust
Also love it in Sepang

Welcome to the forum and nice looking car you have. I'm surprised they stopped the Sepang blue.
How do you find the drive compared to your stage 2 R?

The overall experience is much better in the RS3 and the sound is so good.
Performance wise the R was rapid so the RS3 does feel pretty slow and lazy compared.
Although when I had the R flashed back to standard before buying this one it felt like a snail.
My R has been my most complete car to date (engine sound aside) so hoping this one can at least match it.

I can get you on that because my Sirocco R was 390hp. These FL engines have so much potential and for me pulling off the line is way better even if the 40mph+ isn't. Imagine stage 2 APR on your new one, which I have been told is coming out very soon?

Slow and lazy? People have lost the plot, the standard car gets to to 60 in just over 3.5s ...

Probably not the best way to describe it, I do love it but performance wise compared to a 400bhp golf R it’s very tame.Slow and lazy? People have lost the plot, the standard car gets to to 60 in just over 3.5s ...

Although you should never compare a tuned car to a standard car anyway.
