Hi All,

 

I've had my RS3 saloon now for just over 2 weeks and I have a few questions I want to ask you folks out there, just to make sure all is normal 

 

 

1) When Driving I sometimes feel/hear some minor noises from underneath - i wouldn't call it a clunky noise but it feels like something is engaging - Is this normal ?

 

2) When in Sport mode and I plant my foot form standstill, sometimes there is a slight hesitancy - turbo lag?

 

3) Launch Control - doesn't feel as aggressive as first few times - 

 

4) Tesco Momentum fuel - OK to use this - or should I use V power ?

 

5) In comfort mode - when on motorway for example - if I plant my foot, again seem to be some hesitancy

 

6) Dynamic mode takes more fuel obviously - but in Individual mode if Exhaust is set to Dynamic (flaps open for noise) does this also result in more fuel ?

 

Apart from that loving the car! The amount of looks it gets is unreal.

Not able to assist with 1 & 3 and on 6 what are the other settings in Individual mode?

 

On 4 - there seems to be concern about consitancy in quality of Tesco Momentum, but this may be a regional thing.

 

As for hesitancy - when I test drove a FL Sportback last Saturday I was very impressed with the immediate response (lack of hesitancy) in comfort & dynamic mode, much better than my 8v.
