Create AccountI removed the intake manifold from my RS3. I realised some metal sheet across the intake channel. Do we need this? I think it makes some air turbolence, but let the engine breath better without this. True ,or not?

I had these removed when I had mine deflapped for better flow. They’re used to help with cold starts. Not worth removing, results are very minimal.
