How often are guys who have there 8Ps remapped changing their engine oil?

Is once a year enough or should it be twice? (On average I seem to have been doing about 5000 miles a year over the past 4 years.)

I would do at least every 12 months 👍 I get all fluids changed every year and I’ve only done 2 or 300 miles a year

Yeah I'd never go more than a year.

When you say all does that include your Haldex and S-tronic fluids then?

No I do those every other year mate, although if it was a car used regularly I’d consider every year, I’m funny like that prefer everything done for piece of mind. I also do the plugs every other year, although my service guy says I don’t need to 🤷‍♂️

For what they cost it’s not worth the risk.

I use millers nanodrive 5w-40 but not sure if theres any difference mate. Wouldn’t have thought there’s a lot to be fair, if any.

All the major brands of oil are much the same & no one make is better than another just the hype & how deep your pockets.

Someone told me the Motul has less wear on the engine, but with the miles I do I suppose there’s no point changing 🤷‍♂️ I think it’s about £20 more than millers

To be fair with your low mileage i don't think engine wear is an issue mate.

Were they selling by any chance mate ?  ;)

I was doing 30k a year dispatch riding on an Honda motorcycle & i changed the oil & filter at the Honda recommended service intervals using just normal nothing special Honda spec oil. :)

That bike never used any oil up to when i sold it 3 years later with 93k on it. :D
