Hi all. So as per title. Beware the RS3 they are trying to sell is far from "stunning" as they say in the description. It was the first 3 I looked at and after driving 100miles to see it I get there and straight away see cigerette burns in back seat and couple on front, rubber perishing around the door seal and general tatty condition. And that was only about a 1 minute general glance around not even a proper inspection. Messaged the guys lots in the build up to me going there asking questions about the car condition etc and he assured me the car was "all good" was his words. Anyway I no this happens alot but after losing a days pay and 50 quid in petrol I thought I'd do my best to put people of it. If this post isn't allow then feel free to delete. Cheers.

If they didn’t see the burns then how did they prep and clean the car.

What colour is the outside of the car??? The reason i ask is i saw one with a burn mark like that in Coventry before i brought mine a few months ago and that was a right shed.

Black mate. It's on the website. It is a shed compared to the one I ended up buying. Worlds apart.

Just had a look on their website and saw an 11 plate RS3 in white saying it had only done 19,700 miles last mot says 22,547 bit cheeky. Especially with 3 owners is it me or does something sound a bit odd?

Disgusting habit if you ask me.

Completely ruins the inside of a car......but still see people fagging it on a daily basis. :(

Sadly I'm a smoker too, however NOT in any car! One of my old friends uses his cars as an ashtray. Awful!

I've viewed a few "mint" cars and all I can say is my idea of mint and some dealers are two different things.

If there's a disregard to *** burns in the back then they won't have kept ontop of other general maintaince.

I guarantee it's one of the cars that's spent it's life being launched on Instagram in between being parked up to smoke green....... helmets !

Exactly!

Not only does it completely ruin the inside of a car...... it also ruins your health in the long run - I can vouch for that being a Stroke survivor !!!!

I looked at that one too, but didn't see the MOT info? The milometer says 19736. Very low mileage (if true) for a 7 year old car. It says "Deposit taken" so he has obviously got a buyer for it. Good spec actually.
