I’ve heard Dells cars fly by on the motorway and it sounds really nice especially on an oem setup. The removal of the secondary cats gives a subtle deep sound.

At the end of the day it’s another restriction and a popular choice with members to swap them out. I don’t think I’ve heard anyone complain about the noise put it that way

As above, I have the Milltek secondary decat pipes on my car and the rest is OEM (no sports exhaust). It is a good bit louder from the outside but I can't really say I notice much difference from the inside apart from the pop and bangs which are really loud especially when the exhaust is warm.

I can probably make a video with the GoPro this weekend if you are hesitant, just let me know.

Mine have just been sold via ASN

However there is someone on ASN who is selling some Miltek secondary cat delete pipes for £120 - he’s asking too much for them but beats spending on new. You’ll get a second hand set for £80-£100.

Renga

I'm with you on that one as it's a cheap mod as long as none of the 6 studs don't break when loosing the nuts.😕

If they do break just drill them out & replace with 8mm nuts & bolts 😊

I gutted a spare set, ( very messy job) had a sleeve specially made and welded in from the flange end, to keep the bore the same throughout the can, and maintain that untampered oem look, but found them too boomy. ( I put it down to a trait of keeping the shape of the cat can around the sleeved section)

Took them off within 50 miles . sold them on eBay, which funded the Scorpion bypass pipes John and I later fitted.

Studs are a piece of piss to remove even if broken, in fact I took all mine out and replaced them with new on the sleeved oem set.

Studs and link in my post here...

Dell, They are the very ones. I didn’t use their supplied copper nuts, but the studs are identical to oem in every way.

So just took a pic of the secondary cat. Looks like it could be a full miltek system after all as there's only one cat and not 2.

So you have a sports cat at the bottom of the Downpipe? Get the picture up let’s have a look.

you won’t as your section has the sports cat on it. No doubt you’ll have the Miltek Downpipe though if it’s been purchased complete
