Not the best picture as it’s off my phone and bright day. I will try and work out loading from my camera this weekend.

I am now 2 1/2 years into owning an RS3 and although I loved my Rocco R it was the right decision to go for the RS. Here are my thoughts so far:

Handling - The Rocco has full coil overs and complete Cup VWR set up. This made the handling great but so hard it beat your filling out, and most certainly not a family friendly car. The RS on the other hand has the bigger staggered tyre set up with Michelin Cup tyres on OZ forged rims and H&R adjustable lowered springs. This allowed me to keep the mag shocks and even when in Dynamic the ride is not too hard. For driving on the road I am very happy with it's handling, although I don't drive it on the ragged edge due to it's value.

Performance - So far I have been driving it totally standard except for a K&N air filter and Quattro is certainly a big step up from FWD, with great pull using the launch. Now have paid it off I am going stage 2 next week, which will be like starting again.

Exhaust sound - Yes there are some louder PFL cars, but now the car has ran in, has the Sports exhaust and valves permanently open, I think you can't beat the 5 pot noise.

Paintwork - I did hear that Audi paint wasn't the best but I have to say it has been perfect, partly down to the 3 stage GTechnic ceramic coating from new and part due to following all the great car washing advice on here.

Reliablity - I have only done 15k miles but the it has been faultless throughout, including never having the dreaded squeaking brakes.

Fuel economy - This is one of the most impressive parts of the car because I have averaged 30.7 mpg over the whole ownership, which is 4 mpg better than the Rocco R. I do have a 30 mile round trip most weekends on the M27 at 50 mph, which has helped. It has had roadworks for 2 years and due to go on for another year at least.

I have had more expensive cars, faster cars and better looking cars, but as a whole package this has to be the best car I have owned so far and I have decided to keep it until further notice. Saying that if I win the lottery on Tuesday I may just get a 488 lol.

Nice Post, thank you, helpful to get your feedback as I only just got mine but its already growing on me rapidly, had the chance to just to go for a drive around on Sunday, not the rat run to work. Glad I dont have to deal with that set of roadworks often, but i will miss the adaptive cruise control from the Golf R when I do for sure, every car should have it. Anyway keep your eyes peeled for a 20 plate Daytona grey saloon if your East of them, might be me.
