Anyone know how the plug releases?
I read somewhere he purple tab is to keep the body in place so it does fall through into the car.
I can only see a small tab but I can't seem to release it just from that. Bit fiddly too!

Both door plug coupler released, appeared to be ok and then sprayed with electrical contact cleaner and reinstated

Before had sporadic communication errors on modules 52 & 62 (after it started working this morning following clearing fault and rescanning)

After doing the plug couplers, clearing faults then a fresh scan, all errors gone and were back to "OK"

Can't be it was the actual plug connections as naturally wiring is disturbed and its ultimately an intermittent fault but it's a positive result for now!

🤞🏼seems to be ok.
Haven't run another scan to see if any faults have been logged but will do that over the weekend and hopefully it'll still be clear.
Thanks for asking

So haven’t been on for a while as been stacked since moving house..
Wanted to close out this thread with a final update for future reference for everyone.

Basically the fault returned not long after my last post. Exactly the same failure just failed with the door unlocked rather than locked.
VCDS showed up the same faults as before.

So the cause of the failure transpired to be the passenger side front door control module!!
I can only think that the failure mode was causing disruption to the signal on the canbus network which is why VCDS couldn’t pinpoint that module alone and also access the rear door module..

Anyway all sorted now
