Some good info on the different stages of tuning with stock turbo, right through to the full beans crazy stuff that Iroz do. Checkout the size of that downpipe

Warning: Lots of shiny metal things for those engineering nuts among us!

It's all down to the weight reduction.

You must be thinking of the recent APR stage 2 car that was stripped and running slicks tyres etc. Check out the vid at 1min 43secs, all the seats and stuff are still in the car that Iroz were running.

I noticed he hadn’t emptied the door pockets of rubbish and didn’t have a lightweight helmet either. Drgav2005 - I think you try for under 9 yourself and maybe start by ripping out the MMI, speakers, seats, doortrims and carpets. It would have that cool race look to it. Maybe save another 10kg by stripping the paint off. 😂😂😂

If I don't start serious tuning for about 12 months then all the teething problems will be ironed out and they will know if any engine work is required. How good would it be to have a under 10 second RS3?
