When the new beast arrives in March it will have the Sport pack which includes the TPMS.

Given my current winter wheels don't have these sensors and I don't want to be driven mad with error lights, I'm hoping to get 4 TPMS valves and get them added.

I've rung the local Audi garage, who, unsurprisingly were as useful as a chocolate teapot. However, I've found the following sets online:

https://www.ebay.co....T-/272161427121

https://www.wielserv...31302096-detail

I'm presuming either set would be OK... Would I need to do any further messing about or will the Audi accept the new valves and play nicely?

Thanks in advance!  :)

You need to make sure they operate on the same MHz frequency as the sensor fitted to your car.

Ask mjr901parts on FB to give you a price for oem ones.
He’ll do it off your reg number to suit your existing ones.

Thankyou!

Looks like these both operate at 433MHz - I know what my reg will be but the car won't be here until March so won't be on the system until then... I was hoping I'd be able to get these sooner rather than later so that the wheels would be ready for me to swap over once I get my hands on the new car keys

I'm pretty sure the Audi RS ones operate on 433 MHz

What wheels and tyres did you end up getting in the end Gav?

Hi Stu,

I got some RS6 replica alloys from LD Prestige - currently wearing Dunlop WinterSport 4D tyres:

Currently sitting in the garage awaiting arrival of the new car - typical given we have had a couple of decent dumps of snow up here and I'm driving my son's Mini on summer tyres!

Certainly the PFL is 433, and as Audi seem to now standardise on 433, I agree the FL is sure to have 433...

Here's a spanner I the works. the company above have phoned me up and said they are pretty sure that the RS3 does not have the sensor unit in the wheel and it is done off a rotation sensor or something.

Can this be right because they said 90% of all A3 models don't have the sensor in the wheels?

Depends..........
Did you get TPMS as part of a pack ?

Do you have the display of temps and pressures in the virtual cockpit ? If so then you have sensors in the alloys.

I did opt for the sport pack to get the mag suspension and sports exhaust so I suppose it must be included.
