Greetings,

If I decided to get the servicing done at an independent rather than using a main dealer would this invalidate the warranty? Yes I know it sounds crazy and I probably know the answer already but I’m sure I read somewhere that some independents can Service the car and you can maintain the warranty with the main dealer.

Pretty sure as long as the independent uses OEM parts then your warranty stays intact. That's certainly how it's worked with all the cars I've had, so unless Audi stipulate something different then I wouldn't see an issue.

 

However some things you need to go to a main dealer for - for example the paint warranty on my car is only valid if it's inspected by a main dealer at the specified intervals.
