So, this morning I decide to try my new RAM mount (for my iPhone), and my Bad Elf gps with Harry's Lap Timer. (I'm sure most of you know the app). I found a little area without idiot bumps and got to work. The idea was not to go fast, but just to make sure everything worked as advertised. Anyway, after 2 laps I stopped for a minute to try out the built in lap timer on the Audi - pulled away and discovered massive brake fade. I'm guessing she just got too hot while she stood still.

And here's the unlisted clip if anyone is interested.

Hi Harry

Great post and it sounded great. I could see why you didn't want to spank round the bends with those kirbs. I tracked my CBR a few times and got into the habit of driving a slow lap to cool everything down after.
