First of many posts I expect, can Advanced Key be retro fitted?

Bad security risk getting the advanced key. Scroats can clone it and be away with your car in seconds.
Catalunya Red ,Heated rear window,Power steering,Wireless (with FM),Seat belts,Servo assisted brakes.Pneumatic tyres. Disc brakes.

Not if it’s protected by Auto watch Ghost and a Disklok......Bad security risk getting the advanced key. Scroats can clone it and be away with your car in seconds.

Kind of defeats the object of having the convenience of keyless entry if you've then got to faff around unlocking a Disklok though.
Better to ‘faff’ around with the Disklok for precisely 1 min than stand there looking at the space where the car used to be ?
Used the Disklok when I had the RS so seems logical to use it for the R.
I’d sooner be Pro-active rather than make things easy for scum to help themselves to a hard earned car.

Agreed, terrible security risk. If no other security measures of course T800I don't know, but if you haven't got it why would you want it?

I get where you're coming from mate, but I'd rather spend 5 seconds taking the fob out of my pocket.

I quite like the idea of the start button, childish I know but ..........

The push button start/stop is a nice feature (I had it on my last one), but I definitely wouldn't undertake the hassle and cost of retro fitting it.

I've got it on mine & love it. But always use a '' Stop Lock Pro'' on mine when i park up.

Just read about TVL Anti-Scan Wallet. Supposed to block any wireless comms.
Not answered your question, but if you do, might be a cheaper option to safeguard you pride and joy.
Agreed, wouldn't go through the cost of retro-fitting, but if you want to, then go for it. I'm sure you can.
I personally like it. So use to it now. Makes you lazy I suppose, but also I know it's always in my pocket.

Advanced key is one of the must haves for me, saves so much messing about and the "security risk" thats generally banded about really really isn't something that i'd be concerned at. Speak to someone like Advanced In Car and they'll price it up for you.
You'd be way more secure taking some of the other security options mentioned above though in general.

Can you get the push button without keyless entry?
Also can you get it and disable the keyless feature?

I think T-800 has disabled his advance door opening & keeped all the other features on his FL RS3.
