Here's an exploded view.......

Should be easy to spot underneath,  obviously you need to take care when changing it

It's an easy change just don't chew up the retaining screw I find the push on pipe fittings a pain to release but other than that not hard
You do lose a bit of fuel from the pipes but that's all.

White tab on the outlet just push it in and pull away from filter.

Black tabs on inlets again just push in and pull away.

Not much fuel comes out from the green cap inlet and outlet but from the yellow is under pressure and shakes you up haha!

Then they just literally snap click back in.

Just make sure you have the locator seated back in properly.

Does anybody know why the fuel filter is not on the service schedule, mines just been in for a full 45k service and they wrote it down as an advisory for the next time I go in?

Audi service schedules I’m afraid.

They will have come up with a figure, multiplied it by 5.89 divided it by 4 and added 17 for good measure.

If your concerned I’d get it done by an indie or yourself ( pretty straightforward ) just don’t be puffing on cig while doing it.
