Picked car up on saturday from MRC after having TTE500 fitted along with stage 3 engine and g box map. Been running great up until last nite, was giving it some and sounded like air escaping as if a pipe had come off. Now the car is not picking up full boost on boost gauge and can feel the loss in power. Had a good look and can't see any pipes off etc.

Mrc is a 4 hour drive from me...

Any ideas

Could be an intercooler hose has come off or split.

That's what I did to prevent any future issues.

You can take the under tray off to have a quick look/feel around the bottom boost hoses.

You might get lucky but its still a bumper off job if ones spilt  :(

Think it's a job for the bank holiday. Is it worth getting a smoke test at all to show where the leak is or not?

I think I may have a boost leak too would it be worth just swapping out the pipes for silicon ones or is it worth trying to find where it leaking and keeping oem style Pipe

I've changed mine to silicone hoses for the sake of £160ish. But they aren't the easiest things to fit, A LOT of sweat and swearing required

Hmmmm sounds worth it but not a job for me then.
Is there any way to test boost without playing with hoses

Just have a general visual inspection of all the charger circuit hoses for any splits in them. A common hose failure seems to be inlet/outlet of FMIC. Just whip under tray off and you'll be able to have a good look
