What it seems like to me is lot of hot air about nothing, whats the point of these figures if none of them are right in the first place ,and just to add my car into the mix its running 590 bhp which we measured on my next door neighbours dyno in his garden shed.

Ok there is quite few things I would like to point out.

First of all, during all the past week including yesterday my car has been driving just like it was doing last Tuesday after the v2.1 upgrade, faster, smoother and torquier then with the v1.2 and the v1.2 was already a massive increase in every aspect over the stock set up.

Now yesterday figures are a mere 25bhp over the stock figures and there is NO WAY that the car as it is now, has just gained 25bhp over the claimed 340bhp stock figures.

Another thing that I don't quite get is that John from BFT when he came back from the pre RR run test drive, he came over to me and told me about how lively my car felt compared to the others.....???? And then look at my RR result, whats happened there?

TBH I am happy how the car is performing since the remap and that is what matters, for the rest, numbers are just numbers.

Right Ben, can you organize for the next meet and have it in your next door neighbour garden, I 'll bring my lawnmower and check the bhp/torque on that as well.

Would of been good for us to have some sort of bruntingthorp kind of track to see what difference there actually was when the cars were put on Tarmac. Maybe next time we can make something like this happen???

Vito you've hit the nail on the head  the numbers don't matter  as long as your happy the way the car performs thats the important thing just enjoy it.

Irrispective of figures, yesterday showed a consistency within APR's software, 2 identical stage 1 cars within 5bhp of each other and another stage 1 car with an added intercooler running approx 20 bhp more which shows the intercooler is working well. The only shock was the bhp result of the Stage 2 car (mine) that may be caused by an underlying issue with the car, who knows ?? But with the Help of Mark from Awesome and APR we will be looking into it.

All in all it was a good day, and a real pleasure to meet like minded enthusiasts :)
Looking forward to show season next year.

Cheers
Chris

We'll get a stand sorted at one if the drag strips and get some times logged to compare cars. :)

Just a quick one to all those who attended on Sunday, I've been speaking to john today and he has asked if you guys would mind if he put the pics he managed to get up on his Facebook page ?? Obviously all reg's will be blanked.

If you could let me know whether you would mind, so I can let him know that would be great.

Cheers
