Has anyone seen the items shown here and if so, (if they work) are they still available ?

It took some finding as it's listed in a funny place imho.

Was out doing a few bits on the car today and saw something i hadn't noticed before in terms of the cooling ducts on the underside..

Basically on the RHS (as you look at the car) there is an open duct yet on the LHS there is no open duct (despite having the lower half of the duct section). I am aware there was some kind of a recall by Audi to do with ventilation, was this to put in the holed section behind the lower valance LHS grill? or am i missing what appears to be a working duct?

I thought the Audi recall was to block the O/S (LHS in your picture) grille in the wheel well Matt.

Maybe because there is no NACA duct feeding it. Could be wrong though.

yours is the same then i take it?

Be good to be able to put a proper NACA duct in as that is the side that suffers because of the non directional discs

I know Audi did the recall for this on my car the 1st time I had it serviced by the stealers but TBH I didn't see it beforehand so not what the original parts looked like. Looking at my wheel well vents they look the same as yours.

Sorry about the grainy pics but they are crops from when I had my bumper off to fit a new grille:

N/S with NACA duct:

O/S without NACA duct:

And from recollection the O/S vent is blocked in the wheel well. Makes no sense  :89:

do we know if the TT RS is the same as the RS3 with only the N/S ducted?

I'm looking into the possibility of flushing in an aftermarket NACA ducts on the O/S then add an additional scoop under that to pick up a little more air..
